EMPOWERING MINDS OF MARYLAND'S YOUTH
Mrs. Knicole thank you for supporting my very sucessful bowling fundraiser for me to go to Australia to study abroad for the summer of 2011. With your help of Empowering Minds of Maryland Youth and Powerful Voices of Young Ladies made me one step closer to making it possible. Just wanted to tell you how much I apperiate you for all your help and because of you I can go on a once in a life time experience. I was striving for a profit of $600.00 but at the end of the night when my mother and I counted all the money from the people who came out to bowl and so many people just came to support and gave cash donations I made a profit of $814.00. Thank you again.

I am a new member of the the Empowering Mind of Maryland's Youth (EMMY) Board of Directors. With the able assistance and committed collaboration with Attorney Ferdinand Ibebuchi and Entrepreneur/Radio Host Haki Shakur Ammi, I am designing a workshop for this Saturday's "Bullying Conference". The workshop will provide insight and inspiration for 1st and 2nd African-American youth and families on developing self-esteem, achieving academic excellence and accomplishing targeted goals.
In our preparations, I am receiving FB messages from African people around the world about the growing tragedy of teasing, threats, taunts and terrorizing of young people who seek to do well in school, abide by government rules and achieve in the workplace and marketplace.
I look forward to learning and listening on Saturday as we jointly persevere at enlightening and encouraging people worldwide to love themselves and respect others.
